Christmas General
We finally put up our Christmas tree this year...
and by 'we', I mean me.

We traded in our tree for a smaller one this year.
But it was also a cheaper one, too... Thanks Grandma, great present? XD

I ordered my brother's present (Box set of Trigun, for 40$ instead of 180$ *o*)
It's an amazing deal but I wonder if it'll arrive on time.
I'm getting him a second present too, so it wont kill either of us for it to be late -- but I'd prefer it not.

Secret Santa
At work we got a SS thing going on, it's going to be fun...
but I got my mother. ;_;
So not only so I have to figure out what to get her normally,
but I have to get her a second Secret Santa present too. ;_;

School
It's the final week of school!
Meaning I only have to go in three times.
Monday - 11am to pick up crane gift. 2pm for Office Procedures & Strategies exam.
Tuesday - 6pm for Sociology exam.
Wednesday - Submit Keyboarding lessons.

Then I've got three weeks off, this is exciting!
I already picked out my schedule for next semester.
My English in the Workplace teacher's last name is Goodfellow,
oh he had better be funny or I'm going to be disappointed. xD

And it wouldn't let me take another Gen Ed course.
I wanted to take a Sociology again. =/
Maybe I can weasel my way into one, if it works with my schedule. :)

Anime/Manga update
Last week I decided to read Ouran High School Host Club.
I've watched the series, and fallen in love many-a-time...
but I actually sat down and went through it.
I'm addicted!! It's such a good storyline, and the characters!
So much better than the anime. (But books are always better, this is nothing new ;p)

However... I'm reading scanlations, and I got to chapter 79...
AND THERE'S NO MORE? D:
I hate waiting for new releases.
They wont be coming fast, either.
I'm already two volumes ahead of the North American releases. ;___;

Oh well, I'll be plenty busy this month while waiting for them. :)

Also, an update.

I believe this is what is technically termed as a "doozy".

Easily my longest episode yet. I couldn't bear to trim it. Maybe it's partially ego, or maybe I was just that happy with the episode. My original concept was ridiculously ambitious and would have taken me... probably ten times as long to finish. So I just took all the best ideas I had from that and made a fairly simple version, and I honestly think it works better this way. Special thanks to Linkara of Atop The 4th Wall fame for cameoing as the merchant.

So yes, this is the penultimate episode of season two of YGOTAS. The finale will be premiered live at MAGFest 8 in Alexandria, VA. Come on down if you wanna watch the episode with me and a ton of other crazed fans. There may even be one or two surprises in store.

Our company gives us a couple of paid volunteers a year and encourages us to use them so today I went with a couple of officemates to spend the afternoon sorting through and packing food donated to the Food Bank. There will eventually be pictures of me in our ridiculous red T-shirts which HR requires us to don for such occasions.

Abyway, so far I've written two of the requests and both are too long to be properly called drabbles. ;P
